Good news to our gym addicts and fitness enthusiasts! Finally, Gyms and Fitness Centers will Re-open on August 1 after several months being closed due to the recent CoVid-19 lockdowns. This is confirmed as per Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, though on certain conditions that Social Distancing must be implemented and can only operate at 30 percent capacity in areas under GCQ. Sadly for those under MECQ/ECQ, you will have to wait as Gyms to Re-open on August 1 isn’t possible yet.

Gyms to Re-open on August 1

This is good news for people looking to get back into the gym, though there will still be difficulties under the new normal as wearing masks at all time will make working out hard especially if you do intense exercises. Another issue will be the 30% capacity meaning you’ll probably need to schedule in advance with your gym. Aside from that, there will be constant disinfection and cleaning at set intervals or time of the day.

So, let us know if you will go back to the gym come August 1, or will you stay doing home workouts for now? Nonetheless its a win-win for both gym addicts and business owners and coaches.
